The situation of persistent o↑rganic pollutants in iron a↑nd steel industry was described, especially the environmental status about PCDD/PCDF. And the sources of PCDD/PCDF in iron a↑nd steel industry were discussed. With the process of iron o↑re sintering, coke production a↑nd electric arc furnaces, it was analyzed that how persistent o↑rganic pollutants produced in iron a↑nd steel industry simply.
