Introduction:

 

The 7th International Conference on Electromagnetic Processing of Materials (EPM2012) was held by the Chinese Society from Metals and co-organized by Northeastern University from Oct.22 to 26, 2012. 

There are about 300 participants from 20 countries and regions attend the conference. 154 papers (including 10 plenary lectures) are presented in oral and 97 papers are presented in poster, discussion are covered several aspects including fundamentals of EPM, Steelmaking & ironmaking processing with electromagnetic, Solidification & microstructure control with electric/magnetic fields, Induction heating, melting and related heat treatment etc.
