The “9th International Conference on Zinc and Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Sheet” (GALVATECH 2013) and the “2nd Asia-Pacific Galvanizing Conference” (AP Galva 2013) joint conference was successfully held in Beijing from September23^rd to 27^th, 2013. The conference was organized by The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM), co-organized by National Engineering Lab of Advanced Coating Technology for Metals and Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection. This is the first time that GALVATECH was held in China.

With more than two years preparation, the GALVATECH2013 and APGalva2013 joint conference received 203 abstracts from the 18 Countries and regions as Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, the United States, China, etc. And after the strict review by the technical committee expert, there were 150 papers included in the conference proceedings.
