China Metallurgy

China  Metallurgy  was  started  in  the  year  of  1991.  As

the magazine of  Chinese Society  for  Metals,   it  is the only

integrated  guidance  periodical  on   iron  and  steel  industry 

published publicly in China and abroad. The editor in chief is

Prof.  Li  Wen-xiu,  the  secretary  general  of  CSM.

 The magazine publishes monthly with 16 mo and 64 pages. The main contents are as follows:

(1)   Reports on the activities of CSM, which constituting about 25 percent of the whole content. The columns include activity plan, conference forenotice and notice, introduction on books and periodicals, meeting review, report on foreign mission, major organizational change of CSM and its substitutes, annual report of CSM and also commend to individuals and groups from CSM, etc.

(2)   Technical essays and papers, accounting for 60 percent of the whole. The columns include expert forum, special report, summary, strategic discussion, business management, technical innovation, environmental protection, metallurgy equipment, and metallurgical technology development, etc.

(3)   Scientific information, which constitutes 15 percent. The columns include R&D information and production situation of enterprises and factories on iron and steel industry in China and overseas.
