The 16th Biennial CSM (the Chinese Society for Metals) Conference on Analysis & Testing of Metallurgical Process & Materials (CCATM).

ICASI is an international organization specialized in analysis and testing techniques involved in iron & steel industry. It bears a close relationship with both CCATM and CETAS. In 2012, ICASI will hold its 11th general meeting and 2nd academic conference in conjunction with the 16th CCATM. The meeting/conference of ICASI and CCATM feature a comprehensive coverage of traditional and emerging disciplines, concerning metallurgical process & material analysis and testing techniques. It is intended to bring together about 600 scientists all over the world for an exchange of experience and developments in connection with all related industries and fields. We hereby would like to extend our sincere invitation to you to participate in ICASI’2012 & CCATM’2012, Beijing, China.

Venue
The conference will be held in China National Convention Center in Beijing.

Topics
Invited lectures, special reports, posters and symposiums will be the main communication manners of the conference. The conference will cover, but not limited to, the subjects of chemistry, physics, mechanics and nondestructive detection, etc., which are related to metallurgical process & material analysis and testing, including: 
● Reviews of progress on the technique of material analysis & testing
● Research achievements and method development of metallurgical process & material analysis and testing techniques
● Detecting and monitoring techniques for manufacturing process control
● Sampling and sample preparation
● On-line analysis & control
● Surface and coating analysis
● Health and environment analysis
● Quality control and laboratory management

Registration
All participants are required to register. The registration
fee is 300 USD, which includes:
● Proceedings of the conference
● Conference banquet
● Lunch and dinner from Oct. 31 – Nov. 3, 2012.

Conference language
The conference presentation language will be English.

A tour program to Xi’an (the capital of the Shaanxi province) will be available to foreign participants and families for exploring the culture, arts and history of western China.
