The honor of “Outstanding Unit of Science Popularization Work” was set up by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and awarded to the national academic societies every year. The purpose of the award is to honor the significant achievements of the national academic societies in science popularization work, inspire passion among the societies to propagate scientific ideas, and encourage more volunteers to engage themselves in this work.
